Government of Canada Delivers on Slaughter Improvement Program

Ottawa, Ontario, October 27, 2009 - The Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, Minister of National Revenue and Minister of State (Agriculture) will be at the Hôtel Gouverneur Îsle Charron in Longueuil, Québec, on Tuesday, October 27, to make an important announcement for Eastern Canada's red meat producers.

Michel Dessureault, President of the Fédération des producteurs de bovins du Québec, will also be in attendance.
