Dairy Farm Investment Program: Step 4. How to apply

As of 3 p.m. EDT August 29, 2017, the Dairy Farm Investment Program’s first application window is fully subscribed. Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is therefore no longer accepting applications for small projects ending before March 31, 2019, and large projects ending before March 31, 2020.

All applications received prior to this time will be reviewed according to the first-come-first-served principle until funding is fully committed. A waiting list will then be created should funds become available due to cancelled or rejected investment projects reviewed during this first window for applications.

Dairy producers will be notified in the coming months of the next window to apply for funding for subsequent years of the five-year (2017 - 2022) program.

Step 4. How to apply

A complete application package consists of a completed application form and such additional supporting documentation (listed in section 3.2 of the Applicant guide) required by the program to fully assess the project.

Apply by email

There are no delays expected.
Online applications should be processed within 100 business days.

Where possible, the program requests that complete application packages, including supporting documentation, be in electronic format. Completed application packages in electronic format can be emailed to aafc.dfip-pifl.aac@canada.ca.

Note: the maximum size of email attachments to Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is 15 MB. If the electronic submission exceeds the maximum, the applicant may forward their submission in a series of emails. Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada is not responsible for the security of the application during transmission.
